Perhaps the enemy has no more effective tool in his work against us than “busyness.” We can sense and resist frontal attacks from him, but busyness, especially the kind that comes from doing the Lord’s work, is much more subtle and therefore much more dangerous. The danger is that we spend so much time and effort doing the King’s work, we have no time for the King Himself. He grieves over our distance and longs for us to give Him our undivided attention.
That is why we have created A Teacher’s Respite, providing the space where you can stop long enough to give Him your attention and talk about things that matter to Him and to you. Surrounded by the soul-stirring beauty of Glen Eyrie, you will find the inspiration you need to rest, reflect, and restore your heart and mind so you can thrive as an educator and a child of God.
Join us for a weekend that will refresh your soul as you draw closer to the One who matters most!
Spouses are welcome to attend and participate fully, as the life of a teacher undoubtedly affects the life of that teacher’s spouse.
$240 per person
$165 per person with double occupancy
