Depression and Suicide in Today’s Youth, Eden Prairie, MN

Join us as we address the topic of Depression and Suicide in our youth today. During our time together we will:
• Educate and equip parents to tackle this heavy topic at home with their children,
• Discuss efforts parents can make to prevent suicidal tendencies in their children,
• Empower parents with skills to respond effectively when these issues arise.
Misty Zacharias is a Christian therapist currently practicing in Faribault, MN. She has been working in the mental health field the past 12 years and is now in her 8th year of private practice. Growing up in a home impacted by mental illness, Misty personally struggled with anxiety, depression and obsessive- compulsive disorder throughout her childhood and adolescence. It wasn’t until she came to know the Lord at age 23, that God began to heal her and equip her to help others heal. Misty currently resides in Owatonna with her husband, John and two children.
