SUPPORTIVE
October 16, 2019

Prayer: Lord, help us to love and support our fellow teachers and students as we go about each day.

Scripture: Bear one other’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 NKJV

Do you know someone right now who is carrying a burden? Are YOU heavy-hearted right now? God gave us a great gift in one another, the gift of support. We should turn to fellow Christians in their time (or our time) of need. There is no greater compliment you can pay someone than to say “I am praying for you.” There are many ways to be supportive. How can you carry out the attribute of being supportive in your daily environment (classroom, hallways, meetings, cafeteria, office, etc.)?

    A great reminder. Thank you!

It is hard to admit that YOU have the problem and need the help. At this moment, I am struggling with family issues. I have leaned heavily upon my fellow teachers during this trial They have been very supportive. My christian family has been extremely supportive as well, It is just very hard to keep going back and asking for even more prayers for a weakness that is beyond my control.
You mentioned that it is a compliment to be told someone is praying for you. I had not looked at it like that. I would rather be doing the praying and supporting. Thank you for your thoughts.
