GOT YOUR BACK

Prayer: Thank You, dear God, that I am safe in Your hands.
Scripture: A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Ecclesiastes 4:12 NLT
Two guys heading into difficult circumstances may often say, one to the other “go for it! I’ve got your back.” In fact you might hear that so much these days it has lost meaning. But it is a most significant thing when one is about to take a risk, that someone else is covering his back and protecting him from attack via blind spots. You and I have limited vision so we need two of us back to back looking in opposite directions to scan the 180 degree horizons and ensure we are free from peril. But the Christ follower has something more– we have Christ watching our back! Our Lord has more than 360 degrees of vision multi-dimensionally. He has us protected from any and all that might threaten us so we are able to step out on faith and in trust that God will see us through to the success He has ordained for us.
So, today, step out in faith and live the life for Christ that God calls you to live. Speak out for the Lord– He has your back (and every other direction too!).
