ZEALOUS

Prayer: Father give me a passion and enthusiasm for what I am doing. Make my passion burn so brightly that the flames cannot be extinguished. Amen
Scripture: Never be lacking in zeal, but keep spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Romans 12:11 NIV
This scripture reminds us that we should never be lacking in zeal. Our first thought is probably “some days I’m just doing good to be here.” “Fervor” means passion, warmth, earnestness, and fire. We all know someone who seems to never run out of zeal and we feed off his or her fire when we are around them. It can be the same way in our schools and classrooms. If we have a burning fire of enthusiasm and a passion for what we are doing then our peers and students will feed off that fire and catch our zeal. Where can we get this kind of zeal? Consider how you can carry out the attribute of maintaining abundant zeal in your daily environment (classroom, hallways, meetings, cafeteria, office, etc.).
