MAKE THE LORD FIRST

Prayer: Today I will give my worries to you, Lord, and command my heart to rest in faith and trust.
Scripture: Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done Philippians 4:6 NLT
How do you handle success? How do you handle things that some might consider ‘less than successful? What do you do when you are bothered or upset? What is your first thought for an action step? Is God at the top of your list? He wants to be! Most of the time, we erroneously try everything we can think of to ‘fix’ things. Often, for me at least, things become worse as a result. But when we come to God with an attitude of thanksgiving, trust, and complete faith that he will answer, and then we are more inclined to find the true success we seek. Never forget our Lord’s invitation to us. “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest” Matt. 11:28 NLT
