FOR GOD IS WORKING IN YOU

Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for inspiring and leading us into Your good plans for us. Please help us keep our eyes on You for our next step. Thank You. Amen.
Scripture: For God is working in you, giving you the desire to obey Him and the power to do what pleases Him. Philippians 2:13 NLT
Is it not amazing that we sometimes ‘resolve’ to do this or that and yet fail to do it? With regard to God, how often we have resolved to do a thing that the Word of God calls upon us to do and yet have failed to follow through. But the Loving Father has made His plan to solve that problem in us. God’s word promises that when you or I humble ourselves obediently and submit to His will, then He steps in. He begins to exercise His power within us. He makes it possible for us to do the things in keeping with God’s will. You never have to fail, again, at obeying the Lord. All you need to do is yield to Him and ask for His power to keep you faithfully on target. I pray this day blesses you and it is one wherein you get to grow more closely to the Savior than you ever have been.
