CAREFREE AGENDA

Prayer: We thank You, Lord, for caring for us. May we remember to bring our cares to You and leave them with You. You came to be our Savior and we are grateful. Amen.
Scripture: Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. Psalms 55:22 NKJV
Truly casting our cares on the Lord is easier said than done for most people. We continually worry and try to control everything going on in our lives when the truth is that WE are NOT in control. God is waiting patiently for us to cast all our cares on Him so we can live a more carefree life.
It is important not to confuse being “carefree” with being lazy or uncaring. We simply mean that it is useless to worry. Ask God to take your burdens and then trust Him to direct and sustain you. What are some of your worries that need to be turned over to Him? Your classroom, students, career decisions, family?
