PEACEFUL

Prayer: Lord, we thank you that we can know your peace by bringing all needs and petitions to you in prayer each day.
Scripture: Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 NIV
People react to stress in different ways. Some get short-tempered, some get sensitive and/or cry, some pull away from others. Whatever your reaction, it is usually anything but peaceful. How many of us actually thank God for the need or problem that we are facing? The Bible tells us that we can be guarded by “a peace that transcends all understanding” just by presenting our requests to God by prayer with thanksgiving. What are some things that pull us away from this peace? Is your educational environment a peaceful place? Remember this promise of peace, and every time you feel chaos taking over stop and pray to receive His peace.
