ENCOURAGEMENT’S EVERYDAY EFFECT

Prayer: Lord may we hold firmly to your confidence as we encourage one another every day.
Scripture: Hebrews 3: 13-14 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. 14 We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first. NAS
An effective servant running with endurance must be cheered on daily. As the writer of Hebrews points out in the Scripture above, daily encouragement from our Christian brothers and sisters deters sin’s deceitfulness and keeps confidence close. Encouraging each other daily will keep the fire, that you feel the first week of school, burning in your heart all the way through to the last week. Your mission field awaits you and God has surrounded you with His love and provision; with brothers and sisters to lean on and learn from. It does not get any better than this on this side of heaven.
