COMFORTER

Prayer: Lord, thank you for being the God of all comfort and help us to comfort others.

Scripture: ”Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.” 2 Corinthians1:3-4 NIV

What are some things that comfort you? How do you know when someone needs your comfort? Do you wait for them to come to you for comfort, or do you go to them when you see their need? Do you only offer it to people you know well? Friends? Family? How can each of us provide comfort and compassion to our students and each other? How can each of us carryout the attribute of being a comforter in our daily environment (classroom, hallways, meetings, cafeteria, office, etc.)?
