ACCOMPLISHED

Prayer: I thank You and praise You, Lord, for peace to do what You have called me to do. I will not rush nor procrastinate, but keep on doing the work You have laid out for me, knowing that You are accomplishing all Your plans. Thank You, Lord. Amen.

Scripture: Lord, You established peace for us; all that we have accomplished You have done for us. Isaiah 26:12 NIV

What is on your list of accomplishments? Keep in mind that accomplishments are more than just professional; they can be personal too.

Some of your greatest accomplishments may not be something you’d put on your résumé.  Do you ever have trouble getting something accomplished? Do you ever have those days when you feel like you haven’t accomplished anything? Are you a procrastinator? Do you lack confidence? Do you get distracted easily or lack time management? All of these can be the devil’s tools.

If we pray and seek God’s will and direction, then it is time to display strength and confidence and take action! Saying, “I can’t” may be true, but you plus God are unstoppable! What have you been putting off? Share something that has been on your “to-do” list for a long time. Is it taking a class, getting a Masters degree, becoming a better public speaker or presenter, learning more about the computer, updating your lesson plans, or becoming more involved at your church?

Replace self-confidence with God-confidence and you will accomplish more than you ever dreamed possible. Start today! How can each of us carryout the attribute of being accomplished in our daily environment (classroom, hallways, meetings, cafeteria, office, etc.)?
