STILL

Prayer: Lord, help us to be still before you this day.

Scripture: “ Be still, and know that I am God….” Psalms 46:10a NIV

When was the last time you were still? I mean really still, not thinking about what you should be doing or what you’ll be doing next, worrying, or thinking about what you should have done. Just be still for a moment.

Take a deep breath and focus on God. Picture yourself sitting with Him in a calm, serene place. Many of us are calling on Him for answers or to reveal His plan for us but the truth is that we can’t hear Him if we don’t sit down and “be still” for a few moments.

This is a very busy time of the year; a nasty word called “burnout” is being used all around you. Remember that God loves you, He wants to spend time with you and He is more than able to meet all of your needs.

STILL
