LIVE A WORTHY LIFE
Prayer: Dear Lord, May we rejoice in knowing we are called by You for our work here today. Thank You. Amen
Scripture: I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Ephesians 4:1 NLT
Many things are held out to us to make our lives ‘worthy’ ones. But all of them seem to fall short, they are hollow, thin, and lack the peace that we seek for our lives. But God has called you to higher purposes, to His holy and eternal kingdom.
God has chosen us to be with Him. He selected you and He selected me from the very beginning, before creation was complete. There is a responsibility that we have– to live a life of integrity. But God also promises to grant us the very ability to do this after we ask Him to be the center of our daily priorities.
I pray your day is filled with the ‘worthiness’ that comes from being yielded to His purposes.
“Lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other’s faults because of your love. Always keep yourselves united with the Holy Spirit and bind yourselves together with peace.” Ephesians 4:1-3 NLT
