PRAYERFUL

PRAYER:   Dear Lord, We lift up the prayer movement at flag poles at schools across our nation today.  May Your Wonderful Name be honored by Your people and in the media.  Please bring students and teachers to know about You.  Thank You.  Amen.

Scripture: Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1Thessalonians 5:16-18

There is no substitute for prayer. We need time together and alone to talk to our heavenly Father. Good communication is important with Him just as it is in any other relationship. God is always right beside you just waiting to listen to you. You don’t need a long fancy prayer, in fact the verse said, “pray without ceasing.”

Praise Him, thank Him, call out for help, talk to Him as if He were your best friend standing right next to you…because He is. Why do we find it so hard to “rejoice always?” How has prayer made a difference in your life? Have your prayers made a difference in someone else’s life?
